SAN JOSE, Calif. – As the economy sheds jobs, community colleges across the country are reporting a surge of unemployed workers enrolling in courses that offer training for “green-collar” jobs.

Turbines in rain gutters, generators on all city bus wheels to power their electric motors, solar ovens for all large institutions like schools and prisons, solar powered street lights and business signage, wind turbines on AC exhaust fans, solar panels on places like grocery stores and malls with charging stations so people could recharge their cars while they are there… I don't know if some of these ideas would work but
